CATS

Overview

CATS - Corporate Asset Tracking System. This system is designed to maintain as much data as needed on each asset. Using meta data to enable users to configure their own requirements for each piece of equipment, tool, or other asset, CATS allows complete and comprehensive management of information across your enterprise. CATS can be integrated with other third party material management, manufacturing and accounting systems.

Connectivity of field assets to your ERP system can be accomplished by Merrick System’s Technology personnel or your internal staff can be training to use the connective tools which will allow your company to reduce cost and have over all control of your asset management system.

Asset which are due for inspection are automatically alerted to the respective asset manager, so that the identified asset can be tagged and removed from inadvertent use in the field; which in turn will prevent the use of an asset that has reached its end of life. This could result in a catastrophic failure, i.e. a drill pipe breaking during drilling.
