OVS

Overview

OVS OVS OVS

One Virtual Source (OVS) is Merrick's asset management system that couples dispersed data sources with multiple applications. It streamlines engineering processes through the creation and automation of user driven workflows to enhance E&P asset performance. OVS is an engineering platform that enables you to achieve integrated operations by providing a common environment where petroleum engineers and oilfield managers can access production data from multiple sources (including SCADA), build workflows for managing and improving production processes and surveillance, and utilize third party data modeling tools.

Accommodating both traditional legacy applications and commercially available tools, OVS enables a true digital oilfield across your assets. Better utilization of qualified, scarce and costly experts and engineering personnel follows automatic configuration of workflows. Built for data integration, OVS reduces the time and effort involved in accessing and using data from multiple sources across different applications. By integrating data, tools and work processes into OVS, teams significantly streamline workflows. Sophisticated reporting functionality enables you to navigate custom workflow functionality as well as visualize your data sets for advanced analysis.

OVS’ built-in production surveillance functionality enables real-time production optimization by identifying and helping resolve bottlenecks.
