Engineering Support Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support to complement Merrick's suite of software applications
  • Troubleshoot simple and complex oil & gas issues
  • Write queries for clients
  • Participate in full quality assurance life cycle of Merrick's products
  • Train clients in use of software
  • Performs data mapping, data population, implementation tasks, and data conversion
  • Develop program specifications for Development team

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Engineering
  • Advanced computer skills including work with databases and ability to use query tools.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Basic and C++ is a plus.
  • Technical Support Consultant experience
  • Two plus years in the oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of field data capture and production accounting software development
  • Supervisory and Project Lead experience
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Bi-lingual and international experience is a plus
