Engineering Support Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to complement Merrick's suite of software applications
- Troubleshoot simple and complex oil & gas issues
- Write queries for clients
- Participate in full quality assurance life cycle of Merrick's products
- Train clients in use of software
- Performs data mapping, data population, implementation tasks, and data conversion
- Develop program specifications for Development team
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Engineering
- Advanced computer skills including work with databases and ability to use query tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Basic and C++ is a plus.
- Technical Support Consultant experience
- Two plus years in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of field data capture and production accounting software development
- Supervisory and Project Lead experience
- Excellent communications skills
- Bi-lingual and international experience is a plus
