Cheo Alvarez

Product Manager, One Virtual Source

Mr. Alvarez is Product Manager of Merrick Systems' One Virtual Source (OVS), the company's next-generation solution for the digital oilfield. In this role, Mr. Alvarez is responsible for directing Merrick's global business, technical, and marketing strategies for the OVS product line as well as related implementation and engineering services. Throughout his career at Merrick, Mr. Alvarez has been instrumental in delivering accelerated, sustainable growth to this rapidly evolving business line.

Mr. Alvarez's primary focus is in the development and implementation of enabling technologies for the digital oilfield, specifically the application of advanced workflow techniques to upstream engineering.

With a background in Petroleum Engineering, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University where he has also completed a number of continuing education courses in Computer Science.

Mr. Alvarez is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
